Prime Armor 3110 Troweled Epoxy Mortar Floor System
This autobody facility was dealing with aged, damaged concrete floors and required a high-performance flooring system capable of withstanding constant vehicle traffic, high point loads, and the demanding conditions created by heavy repair equipment and vehicle lifts. Based on these service requirements, the Prime Armor 3110 Troweled Epoxy Mortar Floor System was recommended for its exceptional durability and high compressive strength.
To ensure proper system performance, the existing concrete substrate was mechanically prepared by certified installers using shot blasting to achieve the required surface profile. Following surface preparation, PC 101 EPOXYCOAT primer was applied to promote optimal chemical adhesion for subsequent layers. The next day, installers hand-troweled PC 311 TD TREADCOAT, an epoxy mortar engineered to support heavy loads and resist impact without compromise. Finally, a finish coat of PC 341 ULTRACOAT was applied to seal the mortar system and deliver added UV resistance, helping maintain long-term finish integrity.
The completed installation produced a robust, long-lasting floor system designed to withstand daily exposure to heavy lifts, repair equipment, automotive chemicals, and continuous vehicle service operations.
