Prime Guard 1600
STEEL CELL PROTECTIVE COATING SYSTEM
PRIME GUARD 1600 is a two coat system consisting of high-solids polyamide epoxy and a urethane topcoat specially formulated to protect and finish high-tech modular steel cell structures. 1600 resists scratching, graffiti and other inmate abuse. When the optional antimicrobial is included the cell surfaces get added protection from microbe and fungal growth.
1600 is typically spray or roll applied to structural steel to achieve proper thickness. Specific applications include, but are not limited to: prefabricated steel panels, cells and fixtures.
